Both apps · a real person answers these

Bloom and Spark are both made by one person in Melbourne. If something is broken, or you want your data gone, email and you will get a reply from her, not a ticket number.

Common questions

I forgot my password

Open the app, tap Sign in, then Forgot password. You will get an email with a link. Opening that link on the same phone the app is installed on is what makes it work — a link opened on a desktop cannot hand the session back to the app.

I never got the confirmation email

Check spam and promotions first; it comes from a no-reply address. If it is genuinely missing after ten minutes, email below with the address you signed up with and it can be confirmed manually.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so they are cancelled in Apple's settings: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling there stops future billing and keeps access until the period you already paid for ends. Refunds are also Apple's to give — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Delete my account and everything in it

Email from the address on the account and say which app. Everything tied to it — the child profiles, the quest history, the notes, the Gift Map — is deleted, not archived, and it cannot be brought back afterwards. Confirmation comes back to you when it is done.

Can more than one parent use the same child?

Not yet in either app. It is the most-asked thing and it is on the list.

What ages are these for?

Spark is built for roughly five to twelve. Bloom works from about four upward, because most of its quests are things you do together away from the screen and an adult reads the prompts aloud.
